My family and I drove into Fort Worth to have dinner. After a really good steak, we went downtown to see the Christmas lights.
We drove in on Jacksboro Highway and Henderson Street, turned right on West Belknap Street and were greeted by the most amazing sight.
I am talking about the lights on the grounds of Chesapeake Energy, from the top of the building to almost every tree on the property.
Chesapeake’s parking lots were almost full of cars, and the streets were also crowded. Folks were walking the grounds with their children, taking pictures and videos among the lighted trees.
This is an enormous effort to do something like this for the enjoyment of the people of Fort Worth and surrounding cities. To provide this beauty free of charge is admirable, and I just felt that someone should say thanks to all the folks at Chesapeake. — Tommy Van Hoose, Runaway
